Under the title “Symphony against Cancer”, next Sunday, June 12 at 12:30 p.m., the charity concert organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer will take place at the Infanta Leonor Theater in Jaén, among the numerous activities that this organization carries out to convey the voice of society to public powers, in order to develop appropriate policies for the prevention and control of cancer.

On this occasion, the AECC will have some exceptional starting partners within the national music scene. On stage, the Trío Arbós, one of the most recognized and awarded chamber music ensembles on the current music scene (2013 National Music Award), will join forces, accompanied by the emerging Andalusian orchestra Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra, all of them under the direction of the director Juan Paulo Gómez. Of this director from Malaga, whom the press has defined as “Juan Paulo Gómez, a great baton master” (EL MUNDO, 03/05/2015), it is worth highlighting his role as a “solidarity artist” due to his strong commitment to all those causes. that affect social well-being, especially those that threaten people's health, since in addition to their participation in this solidarity event we can highlight others recently held such as “Polio Plus” (Rotary International) for the fight against Poliomelitis or “ Butterfly Skin Children” (DEBRA) to combat the terrible Epidermolysis Bullosa.

The first part of the concert program will be the Overture “in the Italian style” D. 591 by Franz Schubert (1797 – 1828) and the Czech Suite, Op. 39 by Antonín Dvorák (1841 – 1904). In the second part, it will be the Arbós Trio who will delight us with the Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano in C Major, Op. 56, work of the great German composer Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827), accompanied by the professors of the Philharmonic Orchestra Sheet Music.
