As I already did Villa de Mancha Real Musical Group (Jaén) in 2011, recently, the Municipal Symphonic Band of Puertollano (Ciudad Real) , directed by Luis Fernando Valiente Escobar has released an album titled “Una Banda, una historia” in which twelve of the most famous pasodobles in the history of Spanish band music are compiled. Among them, the pasodoble is present “Alfonso Martínez” , dedicated to the person of the same name who was for many years mayor of the town of Mancha Real and honorary member of the band of this town, directed for eight years by the director Juan Paulo Gomez .

In addition to “Alfonso Martínez” , the album includes the pasodobles “Las arenas” (Manuel Morales Martínez), “La Alhambra” (Llano), Puerta grande (Elvira Checa), Flores de España (Pascual Pérez Choví), Manolete (Pedro Orozco González) , Ateneo musical (Mariano Puig Yagó), Nerva (Manuel Rojas Tirado), Tercio de quites (Rafael Talens Pelló), Suspiros de España (Antonio Álvarez Alonso), La concha flamenca (Perfecto Artola) and Puenteareas (Reveriano Soutullo).
