Malaga will host the premiere of Juan Antonio Simarro's 'Symphony for a Better World'

The Edgar Neville Auditorium of the Malaga Provincial Council will host the solidarity concert 'Symphony for a Better World' with the absolute premiere of the symphony that gives its name to the concert, composed by the composer Juan Antonio Simarro and which, after the premiere in Malaga, will be you will hear in different parts of the world. The concert program includes Symphony No. 9 in E minor Op. 95 'From the New World' by Antonin Dvorak. The concert will take place on Thursday, November 24, at 8:00 p.m. This was announced by the Culture Deputy, Víctor González, yesterday during the presentation of the concert, which was also attended by the artistic director and conductor of the orchestra, Juan Paulo Gómez; the representative of the Spanish Federation of Unesco Clubs (FECU), Elena López; the vice president of FECU Málaga, Miguel Ángel Padilla; and the assistant to the governor and delegate in Malaga of Rotary International, Alain Pierard.

The concert, organized by the Garnati Minstrels and Digital Marketing Association of the Mediterranean with the collaboration of the La Térmica cultural center, Rotary International and the FECU, will be performed by the choir of the University of Málaga, whose main director is Santiago Otero Vela, as well as such as the International Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (IYPO), a non-profit Spanish group whose objective is the training of young musicians, of which Gema Quirant is the principal director. They will be conducted by the Malaga conductor Juan Paulo Gómez, professor of the Chair of Orchestral Conducting at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Malaga and musical and artistic director of the Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra.
