Next March 8 , Friday of Sorrows, at 8:00 p.m. their harmonies will resonate again inside the Cathedral of La Encarnación in Malaga. On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Orchestra of Malaga will be in charge of performing the orchestral part of this sublime musical work, accompanying the voices of the dean of Malaga choirs, the Santa María de la Victoria Choir , founded in 1969 by Father Manuel Gámez López and currently directed by José Eugenio Vicente Téllez . In the solo voices, the quartet will be made up of María del Carmen Vicente Téllez (soprano), María Pino Muñoz (mezzo-soprano), Iván Villa Domínguez (tenor) and Francisco Javier Moreno Ramos (bass). The musical direction of the concert will be carried out by the director from Malaga Juan Paulo Gómez, musical and artistic director of the orchestra.
This concert is part of the cycle that the Provincial Council of Malaga , through Culturama's 2022 Programming , in agreement with the Young Provincial Orchestra of Malaga, develops each year in the different municipalities of the province.
Admission, as in all concerts organized by the Provincial Council, is free until capacity is reached.
