The Provincial Youth Orchestra of Malaga

The JOPMA, which began its journey in 1990 under the name 'Camerata Acadómica', is one of the oldest young orchestras in Europe. The musicians who have trained there, mostly students from the Málaga Conservatory of Music, are now part of orchestras around the world. With the support of the Provincial Council of Malaga, which has sponsored it since 1999, it has been growing while fulfilling the objective of spreading classical music throughout the province.
