Next Friday, September 25 , at 8:30 p.m. , the closing of the XXIX Ciudad de Vélez-Málaga International Guitar Festival will take place at the Teatro del Carmen in Vélez-Málaga . This edition will culminate in the participation of the Iberian Sinfonietta , a Malaga orchestra based in Fuengirola, the Malaga guitarist Javier García Moreno , a performer with an extensive artistic career at a national and international level and Professor of Guitar at the Conservatory of Music. from Málaga , all of them under the baton of the main director of this group, the orchestra director, also from Malaga, Juan Paulo Gómez , who also works as a professor of Orchestral Conducting at the higher conservatory of this city.

The concert program will include works by Vivaldi , Soutullo and Vert , Granados and Giulinai . It is worth highlighting in this program the work that culminates the festival, Concerto No. 1 for guitar and orchestra in A Major, Op 30 by the Italian composer Mauro Giuliani , one of the most representative works of the classical guitar repertoire.

On this occasion and due to the moments of uncertainty we are experiencing, especially in relation to the organization of events in closed spaces, this year's edition will be held behind closed doors, with its concerts being recorded to be broadcast later.
