IBERIAN SINFONIETTA PRESENTS ITS COMMUNITY CONCERTS 21-22
Iberian Sinfonietta , represented by its musical and artistic director Juan Paulo Gómez , has presented at the Fuengirola City Council together with Rodrigo Romero , Councilor for Culture of this municipality on the Costa del Sol, the concert season that, under the title COMMUNITY CONCERTS 21 -22 , will be held at the Peace Palace over the next few months.
In the programming presented, which will take place between the months of September 2021 and May 2022, it is worth highlighting the special attention to young performers and composers of our current national panorama. Proof of this will be the premiere of the work Divertimento by the young Malaga composer Alejandro de la Torre Hernández (winner of the Malaga Musical Foundation scholarship in the 2020 edition), the presence of the young and promising trumpeter from Campillos (Málaga) Amalia Escobar García (winner of the "SPECIAL IBERIAN SINFONIETTA PRIZE" in the II Young Performers Contest Ciudad de Estepona of the 2020 edition) who will perform the Concerto in Eb for trumpet and orchestra by Johann Baptist Georg Neruda and the adaptation made for the occasion of the Pieceof concert no . string orchestra in C minor, op. 35 by Dimitri Shostakovich together with the already renowned Malaga trumpeter Alejandro Gómez Hurtado .
Likewise, the presence of other soloists with recognized careers in the world of interpretation will be evident in this interesting program, as we will be able to enjoy the Variations on the Kol Nidrei, Op.47 by Max Bruch in the version by the Malaga cellist Carmen María Elena González , as well as the famous Concerto for Flute and Harp in C Major, KV 299 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the performance of the flutist Pedro Girba Vidal and the harpist Juan Ramón Hernández Leiva .
As in previous editions and taking into account the original, illustrative and enjoyable concert format of this cycle, the master of ceremonies in charge of presenting and guiding the development of the concert will once again be Jorge Rodríguez Morata , coordinator of pedagogical contents of the orchestra, who already has us accustomed to "in situ" interviews with the program's performers and their original explanations and comments on the repertoire.
In order to attend the concerts and due to the protocol that is still maintained due to COVID, all those interested must report their attendance by calling the week of the concert at the number 952 58 93 49.
