IBERIAN SINFONIETTA INAUGURATES ITS SEASON WITH “AIRS OF THE BAROCO”
The next Saturday September 28 will take place at 12:00 hours in the Bil Bil Castle of Benalmádena the first concert of the 2019-2020 season that Iberian Sinfonietta will take place in this municipality on the Costa del Sol, where it currently has its headquarters.
Under the title “Aires del Barroco” , the aim is to address the first of the four concerts through which its main conductor, the Malaga native Juan Paulo Gómez wants to start a philanthropic project with an educational and cultural objective towards the community based mainly on the support and dissemination of Classical Music. To do this, he will have the collaboration of the musicologist Jorge Rodríguez Morata , who will be in charge of carrying out the pedagogical aspect of this concert format that seeks the interest of a particularly familiar audience.
The concert program, which will be performed without interruption, will consist of the Suite for Orchestra No. 2 in B minor, BWV 1056 by Johann Sebastian Bach , the Trumpet Concerto in D major, IFR 20 by František Xaver Richter , the Oboe Concerto in D minor, S. Z799 by Alessandro Marcello and the Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major, BWV 1047 by Johann Sebastian Bach . The invited soloists for the occasion will be Pedro Girba (flute), Alejandro Gómez (trumpet), Antonio Jesús Juárez (oboe) and Enrique Tudela (violin), who is also the orchestra's principal violin.
