The Las Lagunas Theater, in Mijas Costa, will host this Saturday (7:30 p.m.), a classical music concert to benefit 'butterfly skin' disease. The objective is to raise awareness among the population and raise funds for the Butterfly Skin Association (DEBRA), an entity that from its headquarters in Marbella supports almost 250 families affected by the disease. The concert director is Juan Paulo Gómez, who will conduct the string ensemble of the Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra. Juan Paulo Gómez highlights his role as a solidarity artist involved in social projects to help charitable organizations, including the concerts organized at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid by Rotary International since 2012 in order to raise funds for PolioPlus, collaborating with soloists. such as Ara Malikian, Juan Carlos Garvayo and the Trío Arbós. Since 2006 he has also been a professor of the Orchestra Conducting Chair at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Málaga.
