Concert by the Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra at the Villardompardo Palace

The Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Juan Paulo Gómez will perform works by Arcangelo Corelli , Mozart , Holst and Albéniz in a free admission concert on November 14.
Specifically, they will perform the Concerto Grosso no. 8 in G minor, Op. 6, by Corelli, Eine kleine Nachtmusik KV 525, by Mozart; St. Paul's Suite, Op.29, by Holst y Asturias, Cádiz, Córdoba, Mallorca, Seville, from the Spain Suite, by Albéniz. It will be at the Arab Baths Cultural Center – Villardompardo Palace, next November 14, Saturday, at 7 p.m. (Free entry until complete seats).
According to its managers, “Partiture Producciones, has the participation of instrumentalists with extensive orchestral experience and high musical level from the current Andalusian scene and especially from the province of Jaén, providing coverage to the projects organized by this company related to opera, zarzuela and symphonic concerts, whose objective is to provide the territory with its own programming and production of classical music, as well as a continuity of content dedicated to music lovers, cultural dissemination and enjoyment of classical music. The artistic and musical direction is carried out by Juan Paulo Gómez, Professor of the Orchestra Conducting Chair at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Málaga.”
Partiture Producciones currently focuses its efforts on the creation of a Professional Choir and also continues to program its own productions that will be released in the near future and that will take the Jaén Paraíso Interior brand to the Jaén public as well as national tours.
Principal conductor and founder of Partiture Philharmonic Orchestra, Juan Paulo began his career as an orchestra conductor at the age of 17, obtaining awards and mentions in courses and competitions such as First Prize in the I International Orchestral Conducting Competition for Young Conductors organized by the “Dinu Lipatti” Lyceum of Music in Bucharest (1998), First Prize in the II International Competition for Young Orchestra Conductors organized by the “Oltenia” Philharmonic Orchestra in Craïova (2000), Special Mention in the 47th Edition of the Competition International of Besançon (2001) for his high preparation and technical virtuosity in conducting, with the president of the jury being maestro Sergiu Comisiona, Special Mention at the I Festival of Young European Orchestras City of Melilla (2001), as well as the Special Prize " From the Orchestra” at the II Kisiniev International Orchestral Conducting Competition (2011).
